BRIEF ITINERARY:

Night 1: Hanoi - Laocai - Overnight on the train in soft sleeper A/C cabin.
Day 1:   Lao Cai – Sa Pa - Cat Cat Village (B)
Night 2: Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 2:   Sapa - Ta Fin Village – Night train to Hanoi (B)
Night 3: Overnight on the train in soft sleeper A/C cabin.
Day 3:   Arrive Hanoi

DETAIL ITINERARY: 

Night 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai/Sapa
Take your own transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi train station in Tran Quy Cap street. 8.30pm: Get on the the night train which leaves Hanoi at around 9.15pm. Overnight on the train in soft sleeper A/C cabin.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sa Pa - Cat Cat Village (B)
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.00am. Meet the local guide at the main entrance and take our private car for the transfer to Sapa 35km away.
Have breakfast and relax before exploring Sapa town and the local market in the town.
In the afternoon, take a 2km short trekking with the local guide to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong Ethnic. Meeting and talking with locals at their home to learn more about their daily life and get to know their habits. From here, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French by the wonderful waterfall. Get back to the town in late afternoon. Tonight we suggest you the RED DZAO restaurant for your dinner. Night 2: Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa - Ta Fin Village – Night train to Hanoi (B)
Breakfast at hotel and check out around 9:00-10:00am. You then can consider to take one of the two options below:
SOFT TREK: Pleasant drive to Tafin village (12km from Sapa) of Red Dzao ethic. Touring to the village to visit Tafin handicraft shop and explore the daily life of Red Dzao. Here you have a good choices to buy woven and textile brocades, which is made by ethic people. Visit Tafin Cave and small hamlet of Black H'mong people. Return to Sapa and take a transfer to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi.
HARD TREK: Take a drive to Ta Fin and trek down to a small hamlet of Matra via foot path, where inhabited by Black H'mong ethic. Continue trekking up the village and getting through paddies fields will lead you to an ancient Catholic abbey, built by French colonists. Walk 2 km more to reach Tafin handicraft shops and explore the daily life of Red Dzao. Here you have a good choices to buy woven and textile brocades, which is made by ethic people. Get on your vehicle and transfer to Lao Cai.

We will include a room at a mini hotel or a guest house in Lao Cai town for you to have a shower or refresh in a few hours. Have your own dinner at local restaurant and get on night train back to Hanoi.
Night 3: Overnight on the train in soft sleeper A/C cabin.
Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning (around 04:30-05:00am). Check out the cabin. The tour ends.
