Program: Nhatrang excursion from Nhatrang port

07.00 a.m.: Welcome to Nhatrang, Vietnam’s Mediterranean area. Our guide with whom you will spend the day will pick you up. Nha Trang is not only popular for its beaches but also by its historical relics from Cham civilization represented as Po Nagar Tower, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 7th century Stone Church built in French colonial times, to Long Son Pagoda - a Buddhist pagoda built in commemoration of the monks and nuns who died whilst fighting the Diem Government.

This morning excursion will also take you to the countryside, the outskirt of Nha Trang. Green rice paddies, orchard and cattle and buffaloes at work... you will meet rural people and find out how they earn a living and see highlights and places such as a charcoal stove (pottery) making house, a sedge mat weaving village (You can try weaving), a fish cake frying house, a bakery, a rice paper steaming village, a conical hats making village, a soy milk making house, and an ancient house with a bonsai garden (180 years old; enjoy fruits and green tea ). After lunch at the riverside your guide will show you the historical parts of Nha Trang with the finale of a visit of the Long Son Pagoda with a white giant Buddha statue on its hill top overlooking the peaceful city of Nha Trang.
