ITINERARY:
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (D)
Arrive Tan Son Nhat airport on ----- Our guide will
welcome you transfer to your hotel in the center of
city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cooking Class (B/L)
In the morning, we will have the first cooking
lesson at Vietnam Cookery Center with daily menu. In
the afternoon, visit War Museum, Reunification
Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market
for shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)
Our car will pick up at your hotel in early morning.
Upon arrival at Cai Be, embark a private boat to
cruise around Cai Be Floating Market to see local
people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from
their boats. Visit local garden and house to see
orchard, rice crisped producing process, etc.. After
lunch cruising along river to see peaceful tranquil
life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting
of Mekong Delta region. About 3 pm, the boat will
arrive at Vinh Long Market, walking around to
explore Vinh Long Market. On the way back to Ho Chi
Minh for overnight.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Danang – Hoi An (B/L)
You will take a morning flight to Da Nang airport,
then transfer to Hoi an about 35km away. Being the
most tiny town of Vietnam, you can finish the visit
Hoi An by walk within a half day, but Hoi an
previous was an importance port of Vietnam, where
Chinese and Japanese traders had come over to trade
and live. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An - Red Bridge Cooking Class (B/D)
Free time in the morning for relax. 13:30 come to
the Hai Scout Café at 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street to
meet the Chef. First, we will have a first lesson of
buying typical Vietnamese ingredients to be used in
the cooking lesson later. After the market visit,
you board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise
(25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red
Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view
local river life. On arrival, we explore the cooking
school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning
about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known
dishes, which is the mix of Vietnam and Chinese
cuisine. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours –
each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge
chef’s, before you prepare the same dish ourselves.
Included in the class is a brief introduction to
Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After
the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have
cooked. Then our boat will pick you up at Red Bridge
School for a river cruise along Hoi An River back to
Hoi An Town. Over night in Hoi an.
Day 6: Hoi An - Hanoi (B)
Leaving the Hoian Ancient town, you will visit our
current, but also thousand years Capital. You will
have a half day Hanoi city tour to visit the most
attractions of Hanoi: Van Mieu Temple, Hoan Kiem
lake (the lake of the Restored Sword), Old quarter
streets. The day ends with a traditional cultural
show of Vietnam – Water Puppet show. Over night in
Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
8.30 am pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi. Travel
to Ha Long city for about 3 hours drive. Upon
arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha
Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served
on board. Passing Dog Island, Incense Urn Island, Ga
Choi Island, FInger Island, Hoa Cuong Island, and
visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov beach,
kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package),
if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the
evening, enjoy the night fishing and later over
night on board.
Day 8: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, cruising to Bai Tu long bay, Fire
Island, Bo Nau Island, fishing village. Having lunch
on boat and arrive at Ha long wharf about 12.00
noon. Return to Hanoi, arrive at your hotel about
16.00 pm.
Day 9: Hanoi City – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visits before
transferring to Noi Bai airport for departure.
