ITINERARY:

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Arrive in Hanoi, settle into hotel and meet the tour leader. The evening is free to try out one of Hanoi’s many fine restaurants.

DAY 2: HANOI (B/D)
Enjoy a morning cyclo tour of Hanoi, exploring the magical old quarter and French colonial district. Explore the city on your own in the afternoon and meet up again in the evening for dinner and a water puppet performance.

DAY 3: HANOI – CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK (B/ L/ D)
Set out early for the drive to Cuc Phuong (approx. 3-4hrs). This is a treat for children as Cuc Phuong is Vietnam’ s oldest National Park and is home to an amazing variety of wildlife. Upon arrival, settle into the bungalows located within the lush forests before a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue centre. Here, the children will learn about the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates.

DAY 4: CUC PHUONG – HANOI (B/ L)
What a magical way to start the day – with the sounds of the forest all around! After a hearty breakfast bid the hosts goodbye and set off into the centre of the forest and commence a half day trek through lush rainforest and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. In the afternoon drive back to Hanoi, free evening to relax.

DAY 5: HANOI – HOI AN (B)
Take an early morning flight from Hanoi to Hoi An and settle into the beach-side hotel. Enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall, the 200 year old Tam Ky House and the Japanese Bridge.

DAY 6: HOI AN (B/L)
Enjoy a morning at the beach – with plenty of water sports to keep the kids busy. Experience local BBQ seafood for lunch overlooking the white sandy beaches. After lunch take a short boat trip to a nearby island to visit some handicraft villages and enjoy the beaches.
 
DAY 7: HOI AN (B)
Free day in Hoi An explore the town, enjoy water sports, visit the tailors or simply relax. For the aspiring little chefs – Vietnamese cooking lessons and tour of the morning markets could be arranged.

DAY 8: HOI AN – NHA TRANG (B)
Fly to the coastal resort of Nha Trang and settle into hotel. Free day to explore Nha Trang.

DAY 9: NHA TRANG (B/L/D)
Today take a full day boat cruise around the islands off the coast of Nha Trang. There will be opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, diving or just relaxing on the beach.

DAY 10: NHA TRANG (B)
Free day to explore the town and enjoy the beaches.

DAY 11: NHA TRANG – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City and settle into hotel. After lunch tour the maze of streets and experience the hustle and bustle of China town, ancient pagodas, mosques and cathedrals and War Museum.

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY - DEPARTURE (B)
Free time for the final day in Ho Chi Minh City – take the kids to the Water Park or History Museum or the magical and whimsical Dam Sen Park!

Late afternoon, transfer to the airport for departure flight home.
