  • Day 1: Arrive Hanoi – Transfer to Hotel

    You are arriving at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our guide will welcome you at Noi Bai airport and then transfer to your hotel in the city center. It is time for freshen up and a short rest after long journey.

    Afternoon, you will know our legend/history about Hoan Kiem Lake (the lake of the Restored Sword), our architectural and our way of with small streets and its name (Old quarter) and enjoy our welcome show of northern rural Vietnam – Water Puppet show.

    Transfer back to your hotel around 17:30pm.

    Overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 2: Hanoi – Overnight Halong Bay Cruise

    08:00: Our private driver will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and convey you to Halong City.

    12:30: You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Signature Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

    13:15: As we begin to cruise through the bay a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment    of appetizing favorites will be served. Dining on a luxury junk with fine food and drinks doesn’t come much better than this.

    15:00: After lunch we set sail for Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Explore Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats to discover the interesting daily lives of its inhabitants.

    16:30: Back onboard Signature Cruise Halong Bay’s main craft we will drop anchor for our overnight stay surrounded by incredible landscape.

    17:30 – 18:30:  Happy hour with special drink menu (Buy one get another one for free).

    17:30: Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.

    19:15: Relish special Signature Dinner in restaurant.

    20:45 – 12:00: Your free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range or wines, beers and liquors and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on Halong Bay. Order a specialized massage in room. Choosing with other activities boat cruise such as watch documentary movies, squid fishing or simply relax on our roof top deck under the cover of a star filled sky.

    Day 3: Halong Bay – Return to Hanoi

    06:30: The nicest time of the day on Halong Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.

    07:00: Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee).

    7:30 – 8:30: Enjoy the last stage of your trip in Thien Canh Son cave and islets which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterwards.

    09:30: check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 11:15, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

    Arrive in Hanoi around 16:00, check in hotel and time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 4: Hanoi City Sightseeing & Afternoon fly to Yangon, Myanmar

    Flight VN957 @ 16:45-18:10

    8am: Pick up at hotel and we will go north to visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, His House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature). 
    Afternoon, transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight to Yangon, Myanmar. On arrival, you are met by our guide and transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

    Day 5: Yangon City Sightseeing

    In the morning, visit Sule Pagoda, 48 meters golden dome and walking tour to explore a great city on foot and this tour takes in the best of colonial Yangon. Botataung Pagoda where we can see the Buddha hair relic. Afternoon visit Bogyoke or Scott Market, a famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar handicraft, Gems Shops. Visit world famous Shwedagon Pagoda, this Pagoda dates back about 2600years enshrined 8 sacred hairs of the Buddha, claimed to be the world richest golden dome rises 99 meters and plastered onto the sides of this pagoda with 60 tons of pure gold.

    Evening, enjoy Dinner with Traditional Culture Show.

    Day 6 (uly 13): Yangon to Bagan & Sightseeing

    This morning we head for the airport to get the early morning flight to Bagan. Check into the hotel and depart for a sightseeing excursion around the Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. A comprehensive exploration of Bagan includes Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple. 
    In the afternoon, after a visit to lacquer ware workshops; continue to Manuha Temple built by exile King Manuha; Nanphaya, said to have been the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colour mural paintings. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the temple of Bagan. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

    Day 7: Bagan - Popa / Bagan 

    After breakfast at hotel, we head to Mt. Popa about 48 km south east of Bagan. Mt. Popa, known as the abode of Nats (spirits) - a collection of 37 magical spirits both feared and honoured by some Myanmar people and the nat museum, which houses 37 life-size nat statues sculpted from teak. It's time to climb for 777 steps to the summit. Proceed to Popa Mountain Resort ( 1hr drive ) for our lunch. The restaurant offer a great view to the Popa summit that stands straight from the central plain.
    After lunch, return drive back to Bagan. On the way back, en-route stop at village cottage industry to learn the regional product as well as to watch the collection of juice from the palm trees, and its conversion to brown sugar. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

    Day 8: Bagan – Return to Yangon & Departure

    After breakfast at hotel and at leisure until our transfer to Nyaun U airport for the return flight to Yangon. Connect your international flight out of Myanmar for the trip home. End of the Vietnam & Myanmar tour.

    Value:

    With basic hotels and simple accommodation, this is a no frills option with an adventurous authentic feel. We would normally accommodate your in these in remote areas.


    Standard:

    Standard accommodation equates to a Western 3-star standard, always featuring en-suite rooms and usually a restaurant. Sometimes these are a good affordable choice in cities where accommodation is very expensive, but where being centrally located is a prime consideration.


    Superior:

    Superior accommodation equates to a Western 4-star standard, featuring en-suite rooms and usually a restaurant and often a swimming pool and/or a fitness centre. This is the 'classic' hotel standard we use on most of our group based tours.


    Deluxe:

    Deluxe accommodation equates to a Western 5-star standard, usually featuring spacious, en-suite rooms, a restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre and an array of amenities, excellent service and customer care. India and Southeast Asia have a fabulous array of top notch 5-star properties.

  • Myanmar Visa

    Myanmar requires a visa for all foreigners visiting the country. It is valid for 28 days starting from the day you enter the country, three months from the date of issue. You can obtain a visa from Myanmar Embassies in the various countries. The international points of entry and exit Myanmar are Yangon International Airport and Mandalay International Airport. Show your passport (with valid entry visa) and disembarkation card on arrival to the Immigration officer at the International Airport (Yangon or Mandalay). A valid passport with Entry visa is required for all tourists & businessmen, applicable at any Myanmar Embassies and Consulate General Offices abroad.

    Types of Visa

    A Tourist Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible for an additional 14 days.
    A Business Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible up to 12 months on a case by case basis.
    Visa on Arrival (Pre Arrange Visa) is granted to Package Tourists who have booked prepaid package tour from one of licensed travel and tour companies.
    This arrangement requires minimum of two weeks lead time for the tour companies to prepare.

    1. Passport: valid for more than 6 months.
    2. Application for Entry Visa.
    3. 1 piece passport size colorful picture, white background.
    4. A recommendation letter from employer addressed to: Visa section, Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, give brief description about occupation, purpose of visit, intended arrival and departure dates. Package tour travelers are requested to provide a copy of the package program.
    5. Air tickets reservation.
    6. Visa fee of 200 RMB for tourist visa payable in cash.

    TIPS:


    • The country code is +95, and the internet access code is .mm.
    • Time Zone = MMT (UTC+6:30)
    • International airports are in Yangon and Mandalay.
    • The country is divided into states, divisions, townships, wards and villages.
    • Business Hours is usually from 9am to 5pm for private companies and 9:30-4:30 for government offices. Working days are from Monday through Friday. Public holidays are also included.
    • Major Credit cards are not widely accepted. Cash is always more convenient. National currency is Kyat.
    • Electricity is 200 volts AC, 50Hz.
    • Taxis are available everywhere. There are over 250 Buses lines running through Yangon everyday. For exclusive transport, there are car rental services.
    • Domestic highway bus terminals are Aung-Mingalar and Dagon-Ayeyar, both about 10 miles from downtown Yangon.
    • Common local unit of weight is peiktha (viss), which equals to 3.6 pounds.
    • Most common unit of measure is feet and inches.
    • Clothing should be light, casual cotton wear, sandals or slippers are best for summer.
    • A cardigan or light jerkin for winter and quick drying clothes and an umbrella during the rainy season.
    • Only drink purified bottle water. Bottled water is readily available and some hotels provide complimentary. Carry a bottle with you throughout the day.
    • Two bottles of liquor, two cartons of cigarettes or 100 cigars and half liter of perfume are allowed per person. Yangon Airport arrival hall has a selection of duty free shops with a full range of items at a good price.
